Sound Control Memory makes it easy to match the sound of cassette and radio by allowing you to store treble, bass, and loudness settings for each source. And be sure to check out Kenwood's new EC4 equalizer. You can choose one of 5 preset EQ curves (Rock, Top 40, Jazz, Easy, and Flat) to get the perfect sound, no matter what the style of music   Features Selectable Tuning Spacing: You may select U.S. standard or European tuning spacing. ec4/dB: You can select from one of five equalizer presets, (1) Flat, (2) Rock, (3) Pops/Top 40, (4) Jazz and (5) Easy. Source Tone Memory: You can store equalizer preset, bass and treble settings for each source (tape/fm/am). Display: Green with black characters/indicators. When the unit is on, there is a triangular, green LED that illuminates in the upper right hand corner of the face. Tuner call: When turned on, the unit will automatically switch to the tuner while you are rewinding or fast forwarding a tape. This function can be turned off. CRSC: (Clean Reception System Circuit) Automatically switched FM reception to mono to reduce multi-path noise when needed. This can be turned off. Note Display Illumination/Clock Display: When the unit is in Standby mode, the face/button illumination is "keyed". In addition, while the unit is in Standby mode, the Clock Display can be turned on or off using the CLK button. When the Clock Display is turned on and the unit is in Standby mode, the Clock Display is also "keyed". Pressing and holding the source button turns the unit off completely.
